Growing up in Copenhagen, Sophie loved exploring alternative-bohemian designs and unconventional styles. She began making jewelry as a young girl, using a small workshop at school. She then studied fine jewelry design at the Royal College of Art in London. She founded her namesake label in 2011, in a schoolhouse-converted studio. Each piece is handmade using solid gold and semi precious stones, as well as centuries-old goldsmith techniques.
Sophie is inspired by astronomy, ancient worlds and mythology. Her diverse interests are seen in her clean and delicate styles that feature diamond-dotted eat cuffs and classic stacked rings. Each timeless piece symbolizes a clear understanding of what women want to wear and are designed for women of any age for any occasion.
