In 1986, Jean-Marie Greyl became concerned that hair gels, particularly those used by men, contained excessive alcohol and synthetic agents that dehydrate hair and suffocate the scalp. So he set out to create a natural, alcohol-free hair gel that provides structure without inflicting damage. By combining the film-forming properties of proteins with the fixing power of styling resins, Jean-Marie designed a health-forward formula originally known as Gel à la Kératine. In 2012, we renamed it Gel à l’Hibiscus when Leonor Greyl R&D director David Thomas Brooks replaced keratin with hibiscus extract, chosen for its fortifying properties. Returns are accepted within 28 days from your receipt of delivery, you may initiate a return for qualified merchandise. Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged and unused with their original tags/boxes. Footwear and accessories must be returned in the original boxes provided and inside a protective shipping box. Returns on swimwear and lingerie will not be accepted if the hygienic strip has been removed, or if the items show signs of wear. Beauty products that have been opened are not eligible for return. Items purchased at a discount greater than 50% are final sale and are not eligible for return.
