For Pre-Fall 2021, Bottega Veneta released 'Wardrobe 02', a collection of staple closet essentials that are paired with wonderfully bright and opulent pieces. Present you will find the classic woven leather, tailored coats, cassette bags, alongside plush teddy items in bright colors, pops of Bottega green and rubber lug boots. There's some irony to this collection that is present in the contrast of tailoring and bright ostrich feathers or heavy sequins; even in the bright green wrap around belt over a muted blazer. But this contrast is also present in it's studio setting with a traditional white backdrop that is contrasted with the model line-up which includes non-models like Skepta, Slowthai and Central Saint Martins B.A. fashion course leader Sarah Gresty. “It’s people who we aspire to see in the clothes, and there’s big diversity, from music, film, dance, theater, art, skateboarding.” says Daniel Lee.
